Once upon a time, a Dutch caballero set foot in Ireland, thinking he was just there for a little adventure and some lessons in hospitality. But what he found wasn’t just a cozy pub—it was a feeling of belonging, a place that felt like home, no matter where you’re from.
Back in The Hague, he took his experience and love for flavors to the famous Popocatepetl Mexican restaurant, and that’s where fate stepped in. From managing one of the best Mexican spots in town to owning the best Irish pub in the world, destiny had big plans.
Then one evening, in the warmth of O'Casey’s Irish Pub, he met a Mexican señorita—a woman whose heart carried the fiery spirit of Mexico. A land where love runs deep, faith is unshakable, and life is celebrated with every beat.
